Workshop: Social Ethics and Inequalities, 20 March, 2013, CEM-FMSH (Paris, France)

On 20 March, a workshop entitled “Social Ethics and Inequalities” is organised by the Collège d’Etudes Mondiales (CEM) and the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (FMSH). John Broome (University of Oxford), Gustaf Arrhenius (Stockholm University) and Grégory Ponthière (Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris) will present their works (Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme, 190 avenue de France, 75013 Paris, from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm). The title of their respective presentations are:

John Broome, “Climate Matters” (from 1.00 pm to 2.15 pm)
Gustaf Arrhenius, “The Value of Existence” (from 2.15 pm to 3.30 pm)
Grégory Ponthière, “Utilitarian Ethics and Birth Timing” (from 3.45 pm to 5.00 pm)
